The solution is based on the domestic software platform "IKSAR," combined with one of the popular industrial-grade AR glasses models.
At the construction site of a trunk pipeline, an engineer performed visual inspection (VI) of a welded joint measuring 1220×14 mm. While conducting hands-free control measurements of the joint parameters, the engineer filled out a checklist on the AR glasses screen using voice commands.

During the work, the specialist also had access to a document containing standard values and measurement tolerances. All the employee’s actions were accompanied by video recording in the background. In the event of deviations, it was possible to create an incident linked to the equipment object, complete with photo and video fragments, as well as voice comments.
The convenient "remote expert" function allowed the engineer to receive qualified expert assistance without requiring the expert to travel to the work site. The remote expert, from their workplace, could see all real-time technological operations as if from a first-person perspective on a large monitor. When necessary, the expert could freeze the image at specific moments, highlight an area of interest on a static frame, and guide the engineer in focusing on particular measurements. This feature enables the expert or department manager to support the technological processes of multiple employees wearing AR glasses at different sites in real time through group connectivity.

The domestic IKSAR software allowed the technological regulation for construction supervision at this site to be digitized within a week.
The specialist completed a one-hour training session and independently started working. The IKSAR interface is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, tailored to the needs of production personnel.
Based on the results of the work performed, the IKSAR system generates a digital trace of the process, in this case, the inspection of the welded joint, with all digital attributes and analytics, making the process fully transparent for all stakeholders.
In 2025, LLC "Transneft Supervision" plans to continue leveraging augmented reality technologies for construction supervision at other sites.
