The IKSAR team has completed the adaptation of another new product in the industrial AR glasses market. This time, the Chinese company Goolton provided the IKSAR team with binocular C3000E AR glasses that support SIM cards across various frequency bands, including 5G. This is a fully standalone device that does not require connection to additional equipment such as a smartphone or PC. For convenient storage and transportation, the package includes a rigid protective case.
Goolton C3000 glasses are used without a helmet, are worn directly on the head, secured at the back with a rotary dial, and feature an additional top strap. The device is relatively lightweight—less than 350 grams—and has soft headband elements, allowing for extended work without fatigue or discomfort. Two flip-up Micro OLED displays with high transparency and brightness provide a 40-degree field of view both indoors and outdoors. In very bright ambient lighting, optional tinted lenses on magnetic mounts can be used.
Control is based on a customized Android 12 OS. The device has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, with support for an additional 128 GB memory card. A high-performance 8-core chip supports 3G/4G/5G, Wi-Fi 6+ and Bluetooth 5.1. SIM cards operate normally on Russian frequency bands.
Photo and video capture is handled by a 48-megapixel camera with a built-in ISP processor, featuring 5× automatic HD zoom, electronic image stabilization (EIS), optical image stabilization (OIS), an LED flash, and a red laser pointer for focusing. The camera is mounted directly on the headband housing, allowing it to be used even when the displays are flipped up.
Interaction with the device is possible via voice commands using two microphones with active noise cancellation up to 90 dB and improved speech recognition, as well as through functional buttons and a rotating controller with a button located on the housing.
On the right temple of the Goolton C3000 there are additional configurable buttons: power on/off, “SOS”, and “Back”. The camera module also has buttons to turn the laser pointer and illumination on and off.
The capacity of the replaceable battery is 3000 mAh. The built-in battery has a capacity of 350 mAh and enables hot swapping of the removable battery without shutting down the device or interrupting the workflow. In active use, one removable battery lasts approximately 2.5 hours; using two replaceable batteries extends operating time up to 5 hours. An external power source (for example, a power bank) can also be connected via the USB-C port.
The IKSAR team has completed the adaptation of the Goolton C3000. These glasses are well suited for work in workshops, indoor environments, and outdoors in warm weather. Customers see the C3000 model being used for assembly and disassembly operations, measurements, inspections, and surveys. The large display makes it convenient to work with various types of content. We see strong potential for daily use across a wide range of industrial tasks.
