On October 24, 2024, as part of the 17th International Engine Building Forum at VDNH, the Industrial Competence Center (ICC) "Engine Building" held a demo day.
Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the State Corporation "Rostec," the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization "Center for Competence in Digital Transformation" (ANPO CCIT), and the Russian Fund for Information Technology Development delivered welcoming speeches. The Production Director of JSC "UEC," the Digital Transformation Director of JSC "UEC," and the Information Technology Director of JSC "UEC-Aviadvigatel" presented the current outcomes of significant projects.
To showcase the latest technologies to ICC participants, the IKSAR team presented a report on the projects involving the implementation of augmented reality technologies and devices in engine building.
Specifically, using a pilot project at the Rybinsk enterprise UEC-Saturn as an example, where an engine assembler performs tasks using augmented reality glasses during gas turbine engine (GTE) assembly, it was proposed to develop this technology for integration into UEC’s serial production processes, replication within the ICC framework, integration with core production systems, and the creation of end-to-end scenarios across enterprises within a unified production chain.
