IKSAR in сombination with RealWear Navigator 520

IKSAR supports various mobile devices, but AR glasses remain the most convenient to use, providing employees with free hands and instructions within their field of view. We keep track of promising innovations, select the best ones, and implement them in production.

In 2023, a new model of glasses was released — the RealWear Navigator 520.

Device features:

• Endures extreme temperatures,

• Impact-resistant,

• Reliable protection against dust and water jets,

• Comfortable to wear for extended periods,

  • Lightweight, weighing approximately 250 grams.

It has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, plus a 512GB SD card.

Essentially, it is a modern tablet worn on the head.

The high performance of this smart device is achieved by being based on the Android 11 operating system and an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor.

These specifications already make the RealWear Navigator 520 an indispensable assistant in any production environment. But there’s more!

The RealWear Navigator 520 is voice-controlled, with commands recognized by 4 microphones with active noise cancellation of up to 100dB.

The AR glasses' screen provides a wide field of view at 24°, with clear images thanks to HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The screen measures 14×14 mm, and the length of the arm holding the screen can be easily adjusted and hidden from view when not in use.

This means that employees will see a clear, bright image on a user-friendly screen.

The device has a modular design. For example, with a single click, the standard 48MP camera can be removed and replaced with a thermal imaging camera, instantly expanding the range of possible applications.

The battery has enough power for a full work shift, but if that’s not enough, hot-swapping the battery is possible, allowing uninterrupted device usage without data loss.

We continuously gather feedback from major industrial enterprises. Clients note that the device requirements vary even within a single production environment. For instance, in some cases, the camera cannot be used due to safety considerations, while in others, a camera is mandatory, along with an additionally connected endoscope for hard-to-reach areas.
