HMS SiNGRAY G2: Japanese-made industrial AR glasses

HMS Co., Ltd. has announced the international launch of the professional SiNGRAY G2 AR glasses, designed for the industrial sector. The device is positioned as a tool for challenging environments, including manufacturing, construction sites, and logistics complexes.
Technical Specifications:
- Two Micro-OLED displays with a resolution of 1920×1080 per eye and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
- Field of View (FOV): 41° horizontally — an average figure for industrial AR solutions (e.g., RealWear Navigator 520 has 25°, Vuzix M400 has 28°).
- 4800 mAh battery with hot-swap capability.
- Qualcomm QCS8550 processor, 12/16 GB of RAM, support for OpenXR and AR Foundation.
- 256 GB of internal storage.
According to the manufacturer, the device supports interaction with virtual equipment models and "True AR" — overlaying 3D objects (such as diagrams or models) onto real-world environments. This is enabled by depth sensors and a precise positioning system with 166°-view cameras.
The device is rated IP65 for protection against dust and moisture. Weighing 320 grams, it is slightly heavier than the Hololens 2 but significantly lighter than, for example, the Rokid X Craft.

Shipments of the HMS SiNGRAY G2 are set to begin in 2026. Integration will require adaptation to local standards and software, as the pre-installed platform is not localized.

A key advantage of the model is its precise positioning system (SLAM at 1000 Hz). However, its market success will depend on pricing and developer support.

In the near future, the IKSAR team will receive the first HMS SiNGRAY G2 samples for testing in real-world conditions. We will evaluate their performance in actual industrial settings and various climatic conditions.

Stay tuned for updates — we will share the first test results and implementation case studies!
