INLINE GROUP expands cooperation with smart glasses manufacturers

At North America’s largest augmented reality conference, AWE USA 2018 (California, USA), INLINE GROUP signed a reseller agreement with one of the leading smart glasses manufacturers — RealWear Inc.

INLINE GROUP continues to expand its network of technology partners by establishing commercial relations with top-tier equipment manufacturers who are global leaders in high-tech markets. With official reseller status from RealWear, the company is now authorized to offer certified smart glasses — the HMT-1 head-mounted tablet running Android — to corporate clients as part of integrated solutions utilizing assisted reality technologies based on the XR software platform ("IKSAR").
The HMT-1 device is designed for use with industrial gear, including hard hats and safety glasses, and can operate in wet or contaminated industrial environments (IP66 protection class), as well as in noisy conditions thanks to its innovative noise-canceling system. It allows hands-free operation for field tasks, real-time audio/video communication, and voice-controlled app interaction.
“RealWear’s products meet today’s stringent requirements for wearable electronics in complex industrial settings. We expect our cooperation to unlock entirely new opportunities for implementing projects within the framework of Industry 4.0 and Russia’s digital economy,” said Igor Gulyansky, Head of Augmented Reality (AR) at INLINE GROUP. “Based on pre-orders already collected, we anticipate strong demand for this vendor’s devices in the first half of the year. Equipping workers at Russian industrial sites with this intelligent device, combined with our XR platform-based software solutions, will significantly enhance workforce productivity and operational efficiency.”
