INLINE GROUP demonstrates the capabilities of the IKSAR platform combined with smart glasses at the IT Council of PJSC Rosseti

On April 16, 2019, during the annual meeting of IT executives from subsidiaries and the head office of PJSC Rosseti, INLINE GROUP presented its latest innovations in business digital transformation using the IKSAR software platform for assisted and augmented reality technologies. The solution was demonstrated in combination with RealWear HMT-1 smart glasses, specially adapted for industrial environments.
Throughout the day, participants of the IT Council had the opportunity to personally test the IKSAR software and RealWear smart glasses by performing demonstration inspection procedures. Users executed all tasks using intuitive Russian-language voice commands, completed checklists, entered digital observation data, captured photos and videos of incidents linked to equipment units, left voice comments, and initiated two-way audio-video calls — among many other functions. The smart glasses not only enabled hands-free operation and provided visual step-by-step action guides, but also contributed to employee safety by using GPS to track locations, counting steps, and detecting falls.

In addition to the live demo of its latest developments, INLINE GROUP representatives delivered a presentation on global practical use cases of such technologies and devices, along with early implementation results at industrial sites across Russia. They also shared industry forecasts on the future of assisted and augmented reality.

Commenting on the event, Igor Gulyansky, Deputy General Director of INLINE GROUP, emphasized the strategic relevance of the IKSAR platform combined with smart mobile devices for PJSC Rosseti — not only as an essential component of the company’s digitalization strategy, but also as a means to significantly improve the efficiency of mobile field teams.
