IKSAR at CIPR 2024

From May 21 to 24, 2024, the annual conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia (CIPR)" was held in Nizhny Novgorod. CIPR is the most representative business event and is among the top five largest events in the field of digital economy in Russia.

The IKSAR team traditionally participated in the intensive business program of the forum. For many years, we have been presenting Augmented Reality (AR) technologies for leading industrial companies in Russia at CIPR. This year, the CIPR-2024 exhibition featured over 100 stands with advanced Russian and international solutions. For the first time, partner countries such as China and Iran presented their products, and a total of 14 foreign delegations participated in the event.

The main plenary session, "Technological Independence of Industrial Russia," was attended by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin and the heads of the largest Russian companies. The Prime Minister noted that Russia is creating highly competitive advanced solutions, and the Government is creating conditions for their entry into international markets. In particular, a new support tool was announced for organizations that will use Russian solutions for "heavy" software. This includes both existing market solutions and those emerging thanks to the Digital Economy National Project. It is planned to compensate up to half of the costs for the implementation of key classes of domestic engineering and industrial software.

A highlight of the conference was a two-hour marathon of answers to questions from the head of the Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev. Within the concept of an open microphone, anyone in the audience could ask a question, and Maksut Igorevich provided detailed comments within the competencies of the department.

This year, by the most conservative estimates, the event was attended by over 10,000 people. Each year, the organizers set a new high standard for the quality of large-scale and vibrant conferences.
