On October 17, 2024, the "IKSAR" project was ranked among the top ten out of nearly 200 projects submitted by developers from across Russia as part of the technological competition "Aviatech 2024", organized by the Moscow Innovation Agency.
The final stage of the two-month competition program was the Demo Day, where participants presented short pitches to partners and distinguished guests at the Lomonosov Cluster of Moscow State University.
The "Aviatech 2024" competition focused on identifying innovative developments in Russia for refinement and implementation in the aviation industry, aimed at accelerating the technological and digital transformation of the sector.
Over the course of 8 weeks and an intensive program, the IKSAR team demonstrated their current achievements and projects in aviation and engine construction, as well as the potential for developing and scaling the use of augmented reality technologies and devices across a wide range of scenarios. This included successful applications already implemented, such as product assembly and connector sealing.
In addition to the competition finalists, the Demo Day also featured representatives from partner companies such as Gazpromneft-Aero, Pulkovo Airport, Aeroflot, Vostok Fund, the Moscow Innovation Agency, as well as several honored guests.
Throughout the competition, the IKSAR team was able to meet with all partners and discuss possible use cases in areas such as special transport maintenance, aircraft servicing, airport infrastructure, and various examples of organizing digital remote interaction within the technological chain. IKSAR’s proprietary video conferencing system was showcased, which allows real-time, first-person footage from AR glasses, enabling remote experts to instruct on-site specialists in augmented reality and fill out inspection or defect records directly on the spot.
The partners were also highly interested in IKSAR’s latest developments in artificial intelligence and computer vision for object detection, defect identification, text recognition, as well as technologies for intelligent natural language processing.
