On July 1–2, 2025, the 6th annual conference "Information Technologies in Mechanical Engineering" (ITMash 2025) was held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The key agenda of the forum focused on digital transformation and the innovative development of domestic mechanical engineering aimed at ensuring technological sovereignty, competitiveness, and seamless digital interaction between enterprises. This was framed around the adoption of unified standards and the formation of a digital ecosystem in mechanical engineering and related industries.

The business program included 8 thematic sections covering core areas of mechanical engineering, such as heavy and power engineering, transport, special-purpose, aviation, and shipbuilding. The discussions addressed the application of advanced digital technologies, cybersecurity, automated process control systems (APCS), and metrology.
The forum gathered over 500 participants — representatives from the country’s largest mechanical engineering companies, including UAC, UEC, USC, KAMAZ, Rosatom, Sinara–Transport Machines, Mercator Holding, and many others.
The expo area featured booths from leading software developers, where IT companies showcased their latest innovations. The IXAR booth drew significant attention from forum participants, who throughout the two days tested the newest models of AR glasses and independently engaged with various demo processes for mechanical engineering developed within IXAR software-based projects.
Igor Gulyansky, Product Lead at IXAR, took an active part in the business program, speaking in sessions dedicated to heavy/power engineering and aviation technologies. He shared practical insights on deploying AR technologies and devices in companies such as Power Machines, UEC-Saturn, and the Yakovlev Production Center.
