On March 6, 2025, the annual conference of the largest software and equipment consumers, AKPO-Conf 2025, took place at the Expocenter in Moscow.
The directors of digital departments from Rosatom, Transneft, Rostelecom, Russian Railways, Gazprom Neft, Sber, Rostech, and many other domestic corporations met to discuss with Russian software and equipment manufacturers the trends of Industry 4.0 and 5.0, issues of import substitution and technological sovereignty, as well as the most pressing IT issues within their companies.
The event brought together more than 3,500 participants in one day. The business program included two plenary sessions and about 30 expert sessions and round tables.
The exhibition zone featured booths from the largest IT companies in Russia.
INLINE GROUP JSC is a long-time partner of the event and once again showcased its advanced achievements at the booth this year, including the IKSAR software platform combined with the latest AR glasses TCL Ray Neo X2 and Inmo X lite.
Forum guests could experience the augmented reality technology firsthand, simulating the work of a manufacturing employee through demo scenarios that apply computer vision, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing technologies.
Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the key technologies of Industry 4.0/5.0 for processes involving humans and has a decisive impact on improving labor productivity, speed, safety, quality, equipment lifecycle, transparency, and cost reduction. The effects are especially noticeable for enterprises with high risks, complex equipment or working conditions, remote geographies, and long production cycles — this applies to many large Russian enterprises.
In Russia, at least 1 million employees are involved in processes that can be modernized using AR. Domestic companies are also tackling the complex task of replacing current foreign technologies and adapting the new wave of technologies that will "survive" until 2030 and create conditions for growth and competitiveness in the world.
AKPO-Conf 2025 is an excellent platform for effective dialogue between the largest Russian clients and software and equipment manufacturers, as well as informing the IT industry about new developments in innovative technologies.
