IKSAR at the "Top Technologies" session of the IV congress of Young scientists in Sirius
From November 27 to 29, 2024, the IV Congress of Young Scientists took place in Sirius, marking a key event of 2024 within the Decade of Science and Technology, proclaimed by the President of the Russian Federation to enhance the role of science and technology in addressing critical societal and national development challenges.
The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Gennady Krasnikov, Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov, Presidential Aide Andrey Fursenko, Presidential Advisor Anton Kobyakov, and President of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute" Mikhail Kovalchuk, among other distinguished guests.
Over the course of three intensive days, the Congress hosted seminars, roundtable discussions, sessions, and educational events covering various aspects of the scientific and technological agenda. More than 900 speakers participated, addressing topics such as quantum and neuromorphic technologies, applications of artificial intelligence, the future labor market, breakthrough digital technologies and services for citizens, enterprises, and the scientific community, commercialization of scientific developments, youth science initiatives, and the popularization of science.
As part of the official business program on November 28, 2024, IKSAR Product Manager Igor Gulyansky participated in the session "Top Technologies: How to Turn Innovations into Successful Businesses?" In a brief presentation, he shared insights on the market for augmented reality solutions in industry both in Russia and globally. Other speakers also showcased their innovative developments that have already gained consumer trust. The discussion was moderated by Mikhail Khomich, Chief Managing Director and Chief Strategist at VEB.RF. Participants explored growth drivers and barriers for businesses, government support measures for breakthrough technologies, and key directions for young scientists in emerging fields.
The Congress welcomed 7,000 participants, including representatives from 62 countries and 500 universities. Events of such scale play a crucial role in achieving national goals of technological sovereignty and establishing Russia’s technological leadership on the global stage.
