TCL RayNeo X3 Pro: AR glasses with AI on board

The AR glasses, weighing only 85 grams, received a new super-bright (2500 nits) binocular screen with micro-LED displays. The 25° field of view is sufficient for comfortable perception of digital content while not blocking the view of the real world.

The RayNeo X3 Pro AR glasses received the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 processor, which, according to the manufacturer, allows AI functionality to be processed on board the glasses without sending data to the cloud, for example: real-time text and speech translation, object recognition, and navigation directly in the field of view.

The IKSAR team has scheduled testing of its CV analysis and AI processing algorithms for early June 2026, and in subsequent reviews we plan to talk about this in more detail.

The issue of processing large volumes of data on board is now becoming especially relevant considering communication limitations on the one hand, and the high cost of equipping large industrial facilities with stable connectivity on the other hand.

The RayNeo X3 Pro AR glasses have two cameras: the main one is responsible for filming and AR functions, while the auxiliary one is responsible for hand and space tracking. Device control is possible through the touch panel on the temple or by voice. Three microphones with noise cancellation should provide speech recognition in noisy environments. Operating system: Android XR.

Compared to the not very convenient корпус of the RayNeo X2, the new X3 Pro model received a more ergonomic and compact корпус, soft nose pads, and even weight distribution, which prevents the glasses from slipping down the nose.

The IKSAR team still has yet to evaluate battery life, heating of the temples, and operation of the devices under different temperature and lighting conditions outdoors and indoors, but it is already clear that Chinese technology giants have entered the race with American companies for the most convenient, lightweight, and affordable AR glasses for everyday use.

Customers from various industries are also watching trends and form factors of different AR glasses models with great interest and are proposing more and more new scenarios for using IKSAR software in combination with AR glasses.
