Voronezh State University and IKSAR Technologies sign cooperation agreement in the field of XR technologies
During the celebration of the 27th anniversary of the Faculty of Computer Science (FCS) at Voronezh State University (VSU), a formal exchange of signed cooperation agreements took place between Igor E. Gulyansky, CEO of IKSAR Technologies, and Alexander A. Krylovetsky, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science.
Voronezh State University and IKSAR Technologies have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at integrating advanced Extended Reality (XR) technologies, including Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), into the educational process.
A key focus of the partnership will be the implementation of innovative solutions within the university’s academic programs. The parties plan to collaborate on the development of educational modules, the application of multimodal learning technologies, and the testing of new educational approaches using the IKSAR platform.
Special attention will be given to preparing the next generation of technology professionals. The cooperation framework includes student internships, the development and implementation of modern educational programs, and joint participation in industry conferences and events to promote XR technologies.
Research and development activities will also play an important role in the partnership. The parties intend to work together on projects focused on the integration of XR technologies with computer vision and artificial intelligence.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, students organized a ceremonial concert in the assembly hall of the university’s main building. During the opening of the event, welcoming remarks were delivered by Rector Yuri N. Starilov, Dean Alexander A. Krylovetsky, and Igor E. Gulyansky, CEO of IKSAR Technologies.
Addressing students, alumni, and faculty members, Mr. Gulyansky emphasized the strategic importance of Extended and Augmented Reality (XR/AR) technologies for the future of industry and society. He noted that over the next decade these technologies will significantly transform the ways people work, communicate, and learn, and encouraged students to find their own unique paths within the broad spectrum of opportunities offered by digital technologies.
