With the support of the IKSAR team, TECHNONICOL conducted trials of Moziware Smart Watch, a new product from Moziware, a Chinese manufacturer of industrial-grade AR glasses. The pilot project took place at the stone wool plant in Zainsk (Republic of Tatarstan).
The smartwatch testing was carried out using scenarios previously developed on the IKSAR software platform for AR glasses and tablets. This was made possible because the IKSAR platform operates on any mobile device running Android OS and supports both portrait and landscape orientations.
For a month, specialists at the TECHNO plant in Zainsk tested these new mobile devices in their production processes.
Moziware Smart Watch offers several advantages over traditional mobile devices. It can be used independently as a standalone mobile device or in combination with AR glasses (Moziware Cımō) or the SmartCamera. Additionally, the smartwatch is equipped with two cameras: one on the side of the device, which allows for video streaming from the user’s point of view, and a front camera on the display, which can be used for tasks like user identification.
Employees at the Zainsk TECHNO plant noted the comfortable wrist strap of the smartwatch. All necessary information is conveniently displayed on the watch screen, while workers' hands remain free, similar to the use of AR glasses. The smartwatch’s touch screen is intuitive and familiar to modern users. Moreover, the IKSAR platform allows for voice command operation on the smartwatch via a wireless headset.
Currently, the company is discussing the possibility of integrating these devices with the IKSAR platform for industrial use in the production processes of its stone wool plants.
